Dreams and Gym Reports

Dreams:

(3/21) At one point I woke up with the woman's name Ejanah (or possibly Ejannah or Hejannah orYejanah) in my head.

I dreamed that Mark and I lived in Portland, near Reed College.  The dream had been going on for a while, and we had travelled to a wooded block near 40th and Woodstock in southeast Portland when we met people coming from higher blocks.  There had been a plane crash, and people were walking from the wreck.  (Now that I think about this, something similar happened in the 1980's and folks were walking away from a commercial passenger flight that crashed (I think) in the Park Rose district.)

The fluidity of the setting took us to a northern (Alaskan?) ranger station.  The station was wood plank floors and light brown log cabin walls.  In addition to some park rangers, there was a 20-or-30-something man there who was a visitor like us.  We were in a kind of gift shop, or possibly a lost-and-found.   In any case, the younger man was encouraging me to try on a long loop of red beads.  He was kind of queeny and energetically campy in his fashion encouragement.



I've gotten out of habit of logging my Working Out.


3/23 - Gym.  30 minutes and 310 calories on the Nordic Elliptical. Downstairs 13x(30+40+50)lbs on the pec fly.  13x(30+30+40)lbs on the deltoid fly.  13x(60+70+80)lbs on the lat pull-down.  3x13 Roman Chair curls.  3x13x35lbs barbell curl.  13x(30)lbs on the triceps pull-down.  2x10x5lbs on side and lateral pull ups.

3/25 - Gym.  30 minutes and 310 calories on the Nordic Elliptical. 3/28 - Went to the gym for a quick late session:  20 minutes and 200 calories on the Nordic Elliptical. Downstairs 13x(30+50+50)lbs on the pec fly.  13x(30+40+40)lbs on the deltoid fly.  13x(60+80+80)lbs on the lat pull-down.  3x13 Roman Chair curls.  3x13x35lbs barbell curl.  13x(40+30+30)lbs on the triceps pull-down.


(3/27)Dream:  It was the last day of a Creative Writing Class and it was time for the final, which was to write a novel in an hour.   I choked, looked blankly at my sheet of paper, and wrote nothing during the entire test.  The final was due, and people walked up with their completed stacks of paper.  The instructor, a perky 30-something woman, asked me what was wrong, and then the dream devolved (farther) into a litany of writing woes.   Oh, I also dreamed I abandoned The Child to go watch a movie.
