Epiphany

John interlocking fork tines.

Happy Epiphany!  Some time when Mark is away I'll dig out my frankincense and myrrh, go outside into the soggy yard, and enjoy the rising scent.

The sky has been cloud-filled lately, which has prevented good viewing of a comet (supposedly), and the crescent moon swing by Mercury, Venus, Saturn, Mars, and Jupiter.   I did manage a look at a waxing gibbous moon near Aldebaran the other night when the cats woke me at 3—but it was foggy.

On the story front, I'm wrapping up a short story... and it's resisting.  The story started as a fleeing from an army story, then wanted to turn into a doomed lovers story, and then an ethics of technology story.  At least I haven't thrown Atlantis into the mix.
