After taking last Friday off (I've been feeling sore and tired), I went to the gym Monday. Did the Old, Push-Pull routine. I got a tip to remember to pull my abdomen toward my spine when I'm doing the standing rows, and I tried it. The theory is that tightening the abs (instead of forgetting and having your gut hang) provides support for the lower back muscles.
I'm fine tuning my gym music mix; it's harder to find music with the right beat than I thought. Too fast and I end up stressing out my legs on the elliptical; too slow and I'm not getting enough aerobic exercise.
