Picture of the day: Detail from the front door of St. John the Divine Cathedral. I'm not sure who this is, I don't see a shield and cross, so I don't think it's St. George. It may be St. Martin. What I like about this panel is how the horse and rider fit comfortably within the circle, especially where the horse's head slopes and it's back legs.
